贝拉的祝福是一个非营利组织，通过基于诚信的宠物爱心箱，为有需要的宠物提供免费的宠物食品和用品。我们的使命是促进关爱和社区建设，帮助宠物避免被送进收容所，留在主人身边。 在艰难时刻，他们要给予家人莫大的支持。我们相信宠物是家人，任何家庭都不应该因为经济困难或生活困境而被迫与宠物分离。
挑战
根据人道世界动物组织2024年的一项调查，美国约有2000万只宠物和它们的主人一样生活在贫困之中。此外， 43%的宠物主人表示，他们曾因经济困难而无力支付宠物的各项开支。
由于无力承担医疗费用，许多宠物主人面临着令人心碎的抉择。仅在2025年上半年，估计就有280万只猫狗进入了全国各地的收容所和救助机构——其中许多宠物被遗弃仅仅是因为它们的主人无力承担医疗费用。
美国防止虐待动物协会（ASPCA）的动物收容所统计数据显示，2024年约有60.7万只伴侣动物在收容所被实施安乐死——其中33.4万只狗和27.3万只猫。这一令人痛心的统计数据中包含了一些因饲养者无力承担照料费用而被迫放弃的动物。
我们如何提供帮助
Bella's Blessings提供了一种上游解决方案，通过帮助填补现有资源缺口，从根本上解决收容所超负荷运转的问题。我们专注于通过“小型免费宠物食品储藏室”或“ 宠物祝福盒”等方式，向家庭便捷地分发宠物食品和用品，从而帮助宠物远离收容所——让它们安全、得到照顾，并与爱它们的家人团聚。

Bella’s Blessings is proud to announce our new Pet Blessing Box location launching Saturday, July 18th at Halpern Park (2562 Tilly Mill Rd!) in Doraville! The mission of DArt (Doraville Art) is to create and encourage art in the city of Doraville to the benefit of the community through advocacy, education, and opportunity. In addition to their stellar events and educational opportunities, DArt facilitates new public art in Doraville, including art by new artists and artists from under-represented communities. We were grateful that DArt artists designed and painted our very first Pet Blessing Box. This DArt blog post "Art Meets Community Care: DArt Paints Doraville's First Bella's Blessing Box” captures the wonderful partnership between Bella's Blessings and DArt and the ensuring synergy of art and community care.
Decaturish came out and covered our Doraville launch! Founder Jen Simmons gave an interview to Decaturish staff and explained the impetus for starting Bella's Blessings: Bella's Blessings hosts ribbon cutting for pet blessing box.
In conjunction with the City of Doraville, we’re launching our very first Bella’s Blessings Box April 10th!
It will be a celebration and ribbon-cutting, and we're asking that the community bring donations to stock the box and also take what they need from our pet food and supply table!
What started as a simple white box is now a beautiful piece of community art, and we can't wait to see how Doraville Art brought it to life!
